Vintage novelty chess design large silk square or foulard - c herchberg ? 1920s One button is damagedNovelty silk square foulard chess players, possibly 1970s or 70s? Few very small flaws. Has been washed by previous owner, smells slightly of fabric conditioner. Possible colour run to white square where Im pointing? but minimal they did well as I dont like to risk it! Few tiny paler splash marks, and one faint smudge to border. Wonderful print, the faces are very good. Signed c herchberg? No info found but the manufacture looks fairly high end. Hand
